Hope Jam Jeffries

Hope Jam Jeffries is the CEO and Co-Founder of JANOVA Consulting, LLC, a minority women-owned advisory firm that combines financial services industry expertise and diverse teams to collaboratively partner with clients to identify and deliver impactful solutions to transform finance, risk and cybersecurity processes.

As CEO, Ms. Jam is responsible for the strategic direction of JANOVA Consulting, including overall client portfolio management, as well as day-to-day operational oversight of the business.

Before forming JANOVA Consulting, Ms. Jam was Executive Director, Finance, at Morgan Stanley where she oversaw reporting and analysis related to Regulatory Capital (Basel 3, CCAR, and DFAST) and Data Issues Management.

Prior to working at Morgan Stanley, Ms. Jam was the Head of Firm and Bank Regulatory Reporting and the Co-Head of Accounting Policy at E*TRADE. Ms. Jam was instrumental in leading the merger of Morgan Stanley / E*TRADE Firm and Bank Regulatory Reporting Functions, including but not limited to the integration of Deposits, Brokerage accounts, Axiom System and over 100 regulatory reports.

Ms. Jam began her career as a staff accountant at Deloitte in Miami, FL, where she participated in the restatement of large organizations and was responsible for SOX compliance and preparation of quarterly and annual reports for the clients. Ms. Jam holds a MBA in Professional Accounting from the University of Miami (Coral Gables, Florida) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Commercial Law from Rhodes University (Grahamstown, South Africa); she is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia.

Anna Johnson

Anna Johnson is the President and Co-Founder of JANOVA Consulting, LLC, a minority women-owned advisory firm that combines financial services industry expertise and diverse teams to collaboratively partner with clients to identify and deliver impactful solutions to transform finance, risk and cybersecurity processes.

As the President of JANOVA Consulting, Ms. Johnson is responsible for overseeing company’s strategic planning, marketing, business development and account management, day-to-day operations, and the human resources function.

Ms. Johnson has over 11 years of experience in public accounting and the financial services industry, helping organizations develop and execute strategies to rationalize and optimize accounting and finance functions. Ms. Johnson’s areas of expertise include US GAAP, accounting standard implementation, audit readiness, SOX compliance, financial reporting, accounting software implementation, project management (including agile delivery framework), and process optimization and automation.   

Previously, Ms. Johnson served as a Director at MorganFranklin Consulting and a Senior Manager at EY FSO Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice, where she led the advisory engagements at the large banks and the secondary mortgage market financial institutions. Ms. Johnson began her career at Deloitte audit practice, where she serviced on numerous PCAOB audits of financial services clients, leading the onshore and offshore audit teams in the execution of quarterly, interim, and annual audit procedures for the SEC registered clients.    Ms. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from DePaul University (Chicago, IL). She is a Certified Public Accountant in D.C, Virginia, and Illinois.
